- Check-in: We request a cell phone number from you at the time of reservation so we can coordinate your arrival time. We will contact your a day or two before your reservation to set up a meeting time to check-in. Arrival time must be before 10:00pm unless prior authorization from owners. Check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 11:00am. Please text or call if there is a last minute change in your arrival time.
- Reservations: Must be confirmed with a credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Your credit card will not be charged until the day of your stay.
- Cancellation: Call us at (217) 348-8259 to cancel your reservation at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival. There is no fee for timely cancellations.
- Accommodations: All rooms at the McGrady Inn are quoted at double occupancy.
- Breakfast: Continental breakfast consisting of muffins, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, breakfast bars, juice, milk, coffee will be offered.
- Children: Are welcome at the McGrady Inn. However, children under the age of 12 are not permitted on the balcony level. Due to the historic nature of our building and the stained glass windows, children under the age of 12 must be supervised at all times. Adults will be responsible for any damages to property by their children.
- Stairs: For our guests with mobility concerns, be advised the historic building requires stair access to ALL guest rooms. Rooms on the sanctuary level have the fewest stairs.
- Quiet hours: are from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Candles: no candles are permitted at any time in our inn.
- McGrady Inn cannot accept pets on the property.
- No smoking on the premises.
- Items left behind: please give us a call as soon as possible regarding the lost item. If found, we will package it up and bring it to the Post Office as quickly as possible. Before sending the package we will get your permission to return the item and charge the Postage and handling fee to your card. We charge the price of the postage plus $5 for packaging and taking it to the Post Office. Items left for 30 days will be discarded.
